H6000 Water Filter - FAQ

What does “Reverse Osmosis” mean?
Reverse Osmosis (RO) operates by removing contaminants from water at the molecular level. By using pressure to squeeze your water against a special membrane, water molecules are separated from impurities. Rejected dissolved solids are automatically rinsed down the drain leaving only high-quality water for you to use.
What can it remove from my water?
The H6000 is proven to reduce bad taste and odors from chlorine or other sources, sediment particles, and more.
Is the H6000 Filter certified for contaminant removal?
The H6000 is certified to reduce fluoride, lead, arsenic, nitrates/nitrites and eight other contaminants.
Can you test my water for me?
Yes! The best way to treat your water is to know exactly what is in it so we can customize a solution to fit your needs. Contact a dealer today to get your water tested!
What does the 25-year warranty cover?
Hague Quality Water International warrants that upon receipt from the owner of any Hague RO dispensing spigot, filter housing and cap, PCF filter housing and cap, membrane housing and cap, found to be defective in material or workmanship, Hague will repair or replace the defective item, at no charge for that item, for 25 YEARS from date of installation. Read the full warranty.
How many gallons can it filter per day?
The H6000 is able to filter 19 gallons per day. A large 4 gallon storage tank holds the filtered water so you have a reserve of freshly filtered water ready when you need it.
How often will I need to replace the filter cartridges?
The carbon filters should be changed every six months, and the RO membrane cartridge should be changed every 12 months. If you have high levels of contaminants in your water, you may need to change your filters more frequently.
Does the H6000 come with a faucet?
