Yes! A basic water test is free. This test helps identify some of the most common contaminants in your water so we can put together a solution that best meets your needs. Not every home will need an acid neutralizer, but if you suspect yours does, contact a dealer today so you can find out!

Does the HC3 Acid Neutralizer treat all the water in my home?

Yes. The Hydroclean HC3 Acid Neutralizer is installed where the water enters your home, ensuring that all the plumbing, fixtures, and appliances inside are safe from the aggressive corroding properties of acidic water.

How often do I need to change the media inside the acid neutralizer?

The media in a Hydroclean HC3 acid neutralizer system can last for years depending on the acidity of the water it treats. Since this time is different depending on your water, occasional servicing is required to replenish the media inside.

Do I need to add salt to this system?

No. Although you may have a water softener in your home, the Hydroclean HC3 acid neutralizer doesn’t need salt to operate. If you have a water softener, be sure to keep the brine tank loaded with salt, but your Hydroclean HC3 acid neutralizer only needs water to keep the system operating properly.

What does the limited lifetime warranty cover?

Read the original warranty that comes with the product. The Hydroclean HC3 acid neutralizer is covered under a 10-year limited lifetime warranty. The warranty is issued to the original owner only and it states that Hague Quality Water will replace and repair any faulty parts, materials, or components at no charge for the first 5 years after installation. During the second 5 years after installation, replacements will be charged at 50% the list price. This warranty does not cover damages from improper use of the unit, abuse, accidents, fires, freezing temperatures or neglect. Other restrictions apply and are detailed in the full warranty.
