It’s not just homeowners with water filtration systems who rely on reverse osmosis but it’s also companies such as ExxonMobil. A few weeks ago, ExxonMobil announced they discovered a breakthrough to help reduce energy and emissions that is required for plastics production.
The reverse osmosis process used by ExxonMobil uses a molecular-level filter and form of reverse osmosis that separates complex hydrocarbon from para-xylene mixtures. The process could reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 45 million tons per a year.
Researchers from the Georgia Institute of Technology detailed their findings in the journal, Science.
Hague Water is pleased to see others embrace the technology and benefits of reverse osmosis. As we say at Hague Water, live clear with life support water. Check out Hague Water’s reverse osmosis system, H6500 R.O systems by clicking here.
