We get a handful of commonly asked questions and we’re happy to answer them all for you! There is no such thing as a silly question, especially when it has to do with your drinking water. Hague is committed to making sure the water in your home is clean and ready to drink.

It’s true, it’s more than just water. Water can be in different forms such was utility grade, working grade or drinking water. Utility grade water is typically used for irrigation because it doesn’t require treatment. Drinking water does require treatment and filtration.

You do need to get your water tested. It’s important that your water is tested to determine if the water is pure enough to drink. We can’t see, with our naked eye, if water has hardness, iron or an imbalance of pH. Hague offers free in-home water tests to help you determine the quality of the water in your home.

WaterMax water softeners can be installed outdoors and we designed the unit to handle outdoor conditions. However, it’s best to check on it after an intense storm such as a hurricane! You do not have to worry about changing the filter on your WaterMax. Our WaterMax system is designed to work on its own so you don’t need to worry about the system if you go out of town. If there is no water used, then there won’t be any recharges.

WaterMax comes with a 25-year warranty! Hague is big on quality and the warranty is just one of the many examples of our quality!
